Pole Dance Classes

The perfect introduction to the Aradia Fitness workout! This one-time, introductory class will give new students a tantalizing taste of our trademark Pole Dancing & Sensual Movement workout. The “Teaser” class will take clients through our sexy yoga-fusion workout before hitting the poles for their first pole dance choreography. Completion of the “Teaser” class is required before attending any Pole 1 or Beginner Pole class.

Dress comfortably in yoga pants and a t-shirt. No shoes needed for this class. Please leave all jewelry at home and do not apply lotion to your hands or legs before class.

Pole 1 introduces clients to the perfect mix of pole work and sensual movement… transforming your mind & body as you explore your journey to become “Strong.Fit.Confident”. This class is designed on a 4-week lesson plan rotation and includes an important mix of our sexy yoga-fusion workout as well as strength training on the pole. Clients will also learn a variety of pole dance spins & transitions and how to them together into mini choreographies.

In Pole 2, clients continue to explore more challenging spins, tricks & transitions and be introduced to pole climbing, sitting and inverting. We will begin to phase out the sexy yoga-fusion workout and transition to more strength-training using the pole.
Prerequisite to attend requires instructor approval and successful demonstration of Pole 1 “level up” techniques.

Beginner Pole is a mixed level pole class for beginner pole students in Pole 1 or Pole 2. Topics covered will be techniques from these levels. This less formal class gives clients an extra, guided pole workout geared specifically for beginner level students. Prerequisite to attend Beginner Pole is completion of at least one TEASER class, although we recommend students have several Pole 1 classes under their belt prior to attending.

In Pole 3 clients are introduced to flying high on the pole as we continue to invert (flip upside down) and climb! All that hard work in Pole 1 and Pole 2 will pay off as you tackle even more challenging spins, tricks and transitions. Instructors will also begin to transition clients to “freestyle” dancing where you will learn how to effortlessly put everything you know together into your own dance style.
Prerequisite to attend requires instructor approval and successful demonstration of Pole 2 “level up” techniques.

In Pole 4, clients are challenged even more as we begin to tackle static aerial holds using different parts of our body, such as inner thighs and hips. The spins, transitions and strength work become increasingly more challenging as we continue to prepare clients for more advanced levels.
Prerequisite to attend requires instructor approval and successful demonstration of Pole 3 “level up” techniques.

Intermediate Pole is a mixed level pole class for intermediate pole students in Pole 3 or Pole 4. Topics covered will be techniques from these levels. This less formal class gives clients an extra, guided pole workout geared specifically for intermediate level students.

Welcome to Pole 5 – a high flying composition of challenging new thigh & hip holds, impressive spins and intense strength building techniques. This class will challenge you with exciting new feats of athleticism! By this point, you will be comfortable with freestyle dancing and instructors will help you create interesting new ways to seamlessly flow your spins, tricks & transitions together into a stunning performance.
Prerequisite to attend requires instructor approval and successful demonstration of Pole 4 “level up” techniques.

The journey to reach Pole 6 has been full of laughter, bumps & bruises and challenges you never thought you were capable of overcoming! In this level, you will be challenged even more with advanced spins, tricks & transitions. Clients will learn new ways of climbing and inverting on the pole as well as truly acrobatic aerial static holds. Your strength & flexibility will continue to grow as you officially enter into advanced level pole fitness.
Prerequisite to attend requires instructor approval and successful demonstration of Pole 5 “level up” techniques.

Flip, fly & spin high in this 90-minute mixed level class for advanced pole students. Warm-up with some floor conditioning, tackle some must-do techniques & polish some old ones, and end class with 30 minutes of FlexAbility.

Class is accessible to students in Pole 5 or higher levels. Students with previous pole experience can email management for a skill assessment to attend.

This mixed-level class focuses specifically on spin pole. Class topics will include a variety of strength training & conditioning, techniques and choreography – each class is unique based on the assigned instructor.
Prerequisite to attend requires strong climbs and inverts from the ground, and successful completion of Pole 3.

Give your body a break from all those challenging pole dance tricks and go back to basics with our Sultry Pole class. This class focuses on the sexier side of pole – students will work on flow & transitions, a variety of movement styles, and the challenge of dancing in stilettos.

Stilettos are encouraged (but not required); appropriate foot wear should NOT be street/everyday stilettos and must have rubber backing on the sole of the foot. Students should bring thigh high legwarmers, stockings or knee pads.

This class is open to students with at least four (4) Pole 1 classes under their belt.

Master the art of creating fluid, seamless sequences of your favorite pole transitions & tricks. Students will be challenged to a variety of topics including grounded flows, movement exercises and mini-choreographies. Movement styles inspired by contemporary, modern, explorative, & ballet techniques.

Students should have completed at least four (4) Pole 1 classes prior to attending this class.

Dig deep into your movement potential in this guided freestyle dance class. Students will be taken through new movement concepts, different ways of dancing & using the pole, use of props & imagery… the possibilities are endless! No choreography or tricks are taught in this class. Students should be have completed at least four (4) classes of Pole 1 prior to attending this class.
