Intro to Aerial Acrobatics

Ever dream of running away to join the circus? Here’s your chance! Get ready for some high-flying fun with our Introduction to Aerial Acrobatics class. Students will be introduced to a variety of aerial apparatus including aerial fabric, aerial hoop (Lyra) and static trapeze. Dress comfortably in form-fitting yoga pants and a tshirt; no shoes needed.
After completion of at least one (1) Intro to Aerial class, students are then eligible to attend our Fit to Fly series. Fit to Fly is a required pre-requisite before attendance in any Level 1 apparatus-specific class.

Intro to Aerial Yoga

The perfect introduction to Aerial Yoga!
Enjoy our restorative anti-gravity aerial hammock class, combining elements from yoga, flexibility, and core conditioning. Hammocks are rigged low to the ground. Students will be challenged to deepen their flexibility, release chronic tension, explore proper alignment, calm the nervous system, build upper body and core strength, and to have the support of the fabric to assist with inversions. This class ends with a peaceful savasana supported in the hammock.
This class is a requirement prior to taking any general AERIAL YOGA class. Students with previous Aerial Yoga experience should email management regarding skipping the intro class requirement.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga is a restorative anti-gravity aerial hammock class, combining elements from yoga, flexibility, and core conditioning. Hammocks are rigged low to the ground. Students will be challenged to deepen their flexibility, release chronic tension, explore proper alignment, calm the nervous system, build upper body and core strength, and to have the support of the fabric to assist going up side down. This class ends with a peaceful savasana supported in the hammock.

Aerial Yoga is suitable to most individuals of all ages, shapes and fitness levels. Prerequisite to attend is completion of our INTRO TO AERIAL YOGA class or previous aerial yoga experience.

Fit to Fly

Fit to Fly is the next step on your aerial acrobatics journey after your Intro to Aerial class. In this series, students will be taken through important foundational & strength-building movements on silks, lyra & trapeze that will set them up for success in Level 1 apparatus-specific classes.

A minimum of eight (8) Fit to Fly classes is required before being eligible to be assessed for entrance into Level Silks, Level 1 Lyra, Level 1 Trapeze and/or Level 1 Aerial Sling.

Silks Level 1

Working out with your feet off the ground has never been so effective… and so much fun! Take your fitness to new heights (literally!) with our aerial Silks class. Students will explore beginner techniques & sequences on aerial fabric.
Prerequisite to attend Silks 1 is successful completion of our Fit to Fly series and technique prerequisites for silks. Students with previous aerial experience should contact management for approval to attend.

Silks Level 2

Working out with your feet off the ground has never been so effective… and so much fun! Take our fitness to new heights (literally!) with our aerial Silks class. Students will explore intermediate techniques & sequences on aerial fabric.
Prerequisite to attend requires completion of Silks Level 1 and instructor approval. Students with previous aerial experience should contact management.

Silks (Mixed Level 1 + 2)

Working out with your feet off the ground has never been so effective… and so much fun! Take our fitness to new heights (literally!) with our aerial Silks class. This class is suitable for students of all levels.
Prerequisite to attend is completion of at least eight (8) level 1 Silks classes. Students with previous aerial experience should contact management for approval to attend.

Bar Work: Lyra + Trapeze

Hone in your bar work skills in this mixed apparatus class. Students will work techniques on both lyra (aerial hoop) and dance trapeze, include bar tricks, rope work & strap work.
To attend this class, students must have completed successful completion of our Fit to Fly series with the required techniques for trapeze & lyra. Students with outside Trapeze or Lyra experience should contact management for approval to attend.

Aerial Sling

Aerial Sling is a different method of training on aerial silks. The fabric is rigged into a hammock, or sling (similar to aerial yoga). Students will explore various sling-based movements, techniques and sequences that are more aerial-dance inspired.

Prerequisite to attend: Completion of Fit to Fly requirements for Aerial Silks/Sling.

Lyra 1

Working out with your feet off the ground has never been so effective… and so much fun! Take our fitness to new heights (literally!) with aerial hoop, also known as Lyra. Students will explore beginner techniques as well as occasional choreography classes.
Prerequisite to attend Lyra 1 is successful completion of our Fit to Fly series’ requirements for lyra techniques. See instructor for test out approval.

Lyra 2

Working out with your feet off the ground has never been so effective… and so much fun! Take our fitness to new heights (literally!) with aerial hoop, also known as Lyra. Students will explore intermediate & advanced techniques.

Prerequisite to attend is completion of at least EIGHT (8) Lyra Level 1 classes AND instructor approval. Students with previous experience should first contact management for approval to attend.

Lyra (Mixed Levels 1 + 2)

Sultry Lyra

You love Lyra… you love dancing in heels… so let’s put them together! Sultry Lyra is a sizzlin’ new aerial flow class, with a focus on exotic movement combined with an aerial hoop. Students will work with low-hanging aerial hoops & experiment with spins, dance moves and floorwork to bring something new to everyone’s favorite aerial apparatus!
Class is appropriate for students comfortable dancing in stilettos and who have taken a minimum of four (4) Fit to Fly classes.
