Amanda

Aerial Acrobatics Instructor

Amanda started aerial to conquer her fear of heights and to have a taste of completing the awe-inspiring tricks of circus artists. Ever since her first catch on the flying trapeze, she’s been hooked. She began training in aerial silks, flying trapeze and static trapeze in Washington DC and continues to take workshops with various instructors throughout the NC area. She has completed introductory aerial teacher training with the New England Center for Circus Arts as well as Born to Fly aerials, is an aerial yoga instructor through MomentOm Arts Aerial Yoga, and is a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200). K.C.

Aradia Fitness Certified Pole Dance Instructor

KC Monroe stumbled across Aradia Fitness when they first opened the doors. A lover of all things dance she has studied modern dance, hip hop, jazz and belly dancing. When she came upon Aradia Fitness she was looking for a more challenging workout. After her first class she knew she was ‘home’, enchanted that women of all sizes an abilities could find something to make the workout their own. It was nice having a place to go where you were excited to be at, looking forward to instruction and never bored.

KC counts one of her greatest achievements to be receiving her instructor certification with Aradia Fitness September of 2014. She credits the hard work and training with helping her cope with the cancer diagnosis she received two weeks after receiving her certification. The only constant that she was able to focus on was that she was not going to stop poling or going to the studio. Diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, she had chemotherapy on Friday’s and taught Teaser classes on Saturdays. She said focusing on others and having something to look forward to kept her inspired to get through and conquer. Now months later, cancer free and still teaching she says she feels blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing, supportive women. Many Saturdays you can find her teaching TNT (Twerk and Tone) or Lapdance.

KC holds a BA in English and Journalism and has a Masters in Organizational Management and believes if you find a job you love, you truly never work a day in your life…she says that is what Aradia Fitness is to her that job you love that doesn’t seem like work.

She is a Level 2 certified Buti instructor, a 200 hour RYT, and holds Hot Core and Buti Sculpt certifications, all through Buti Yoga.

She discovered Aradia in 2015 and knew it would be a perfect fit for Buti. Sue

Aradia Fitness Certified Pole Dance Instructor

Growing up in France, dancing, has been a part of Sue’s life since she was a child. Always running and playing created a love of movement and activity, so dancing felt like the natural thing to do in high school. Sue started pole dance in 2014 in France and has trained in pole dance studios in Dubai, London, New York and now Cary. Becoming a sexy woman was the catalyst for her to start pole dancing, something she fell in love with instantly and committed to throughout every country she traveled since. It was that love that led her to start teaching at Aradia Fitness, and it’s that same love that continues to allow her to train as much as she can with the hopes of one day, mastering the movements of pole dancing.

Pole has allowed Sue to increase her flexibility, her fluidity and also to become stronger, sexier but above all, it has helped her to feel confidently beautiful. She now wants to help other women to feel that way. To Sue, pole dancing is the best way to make a woman strong, confident, driven, independent and knowing that she is comfortable in her own skin.

Sue is so EXCITED to be a part of the Aradia Fitness family.

Xenia

Aradia Fitness Certified Pole Dance Instructor

Xenia fell in love with pole fitness in 2012.  After having lost 60 lbs and being bored with the gym, she was on a search to find a more exciting way to work out. This led her to her first pole dance class, and she was instantly hooked.  She liked the continual challenge pole fitness and aerial arts presented.  The best part about pole dancing for Xenia is the community of friends that all actively play a positive role in each other’s lives.

Xenia has an athletic background, playing a variety of sports growing up.  This helped make her decision to go into physical fitness easy. She is an IFTA national certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise instructor. She teaches a variety of classes.  Among her favorites are bootcamps and high intensity workouts, like Kettlebell AMPD, which Xenia holds a special certification in.  She loves to sing and entertain while she instructs, so it feels less like a workout and more like a party!!!

When Xenia is not poling, working out or teaching, she is studying to be a Web Developer/Design.
